In the arsenal of street trees, Zelkova has much to offer. ‘Musashino’ is upright, even narrower than Z. ‘Green Vase’. Moderately fast growing, this tree can withstand pollution and wind and has considerable tolerance to salt and drought. Elm-like, dark green foliage turns yellow to rusty orange in fall.
